N-Dubz

All Around The World Records has made a sensational album with three sensational teens; Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer.
With Dappy's catchy raps, Fazer's smoother raps and Tulisa'a powerhouse R&B style vocals, this album is the start of something great for the Dynamite Trio.

1. Intro- Dappy's explanation of the album's name.

2. Wouldn't You- A hypnotic smooth opening to the...

Kanye West

At a first listen to this I dismissed it almost immediately, but after listening to it a bit more it's not such a bad album. Apparently this was just meant to be released as an LP, but having it as a regular album release is going to make more money obviously. I'd be surprised if he did anymore albums like this but it's good to see some experimentation.

What a great party track - just makes you want to get up and dance. Alesha's performance of this on Strictly Come Dancing was also hot - the place was cookin' !!!

Portishead

Portishead's Third has been a long time coming, the result of a lengthy creative topor following 1997's dark, distinctly underrated album Portishead. Importantly, though, they've shaken it. While the core trio of Beth Gibbons, Geoff Barrow, and Adrian Utley remains, this is quite a different band to Portishead's 90s incarnation: gone is the slo-mo turntable scratching and smoky jazz feel,...

Lil Wayne

The Carter 3 is a good album , but is Waynes weakest by far.
If you havnt heard the old Carters then i suggest that you listen to them before claiming C3 is Waynes greatest album.
Dont get me wrong C3 is still a top album ( 5 Stars ) but i think it is highly overated.
Most Recognisable Tracks include Lil Waynes hit Lollipop Ft Static Major.

John Legend

It only arrived yesterday, and its growing on me!

I agree with another review I read that a couple of the tracks are similar in style to the Once Again album - which I loved! The others are quite different in style, and Track 1 is a nice change! Its good - buy it!

Nitin Sawhney

I saw Nitin play in Bristol in early November 2008 and he gave the best performance of the 5 times I have seen him. A delicate and sensitive gig, with Nitin mainly playing acoustic guitar, accompanied by some sublime cello playing and indian flute and tabla playing - all mixed with dreamy singing. This album reflects all that. A true concept album - a 45 minute journey through life today. Such a wide...
